Is the admission to various programs open throughout the year?

Day Care admissions are open throughout the year. For 2013-14 academic year, admissions to the Lower, Upper KG & Pre-school will be closed by August 31st 2013.

What is the procedure for enrolment?

Admission is will be given on first come first serve basis.

Is it necessary to secure admissions in advance?

Yes, since we have limited seats to ensure perfect teacher child ratio.

Will my child be able to sleep during the day?

Many children, particularly under the age of 3 years, will require a sleep time during the day. We have ample sleeping facilities for the children, who are offered a rest period during the day, usually after lunchtime if they attend for the whole day.

How often will my child go outside?

As fresh air is very important, children will have access to the outdoor area. Subject to the constraints of the school buildings our children have permanent access to the outdoor area and can choose to play inside or outside. In addition we take children on trips and outings in the local area so they can learn about their communities and have access to a wider range of learning opportunities.

How do you plan for and assess each child's learning?

Each child's Key Person is responsible for completing an individual learning journey for the children. They are trained to plan for children's individual learning needs. Key person, Child Relationship Manager will observe their children and identify strengths, development needs, interests and based on these fact sheets, short and medium term plans will be designed.

How do you manage children's behavior?

There will never be any form of physical punishment in our school. Our children will never be subject to humiliation, they will be taught by example. Our aim is to promote good behavior and ensure that all children are provided with love, care, security, adequate rest and sleep, the freedom to explore, a positive self image

What if my child requires medication?

The school staff is able to administer various medications subject to authorization and various safeguards. This includes the administration of long term medication such as an inhaler and external medications such as creams. Restrictions apply to un-prescribed medication and some medication such as antibiotics cannot be administered by the staff.

What happens if my child has an accident at school?

Well, we will always try to avoid such incidents but as children develop physically, particularly in their early walking stages, accidents can occasionally happen. To meet those unpredictable minor incidents our staff has undergone specialized training for First Aid.

What happens if I am late collecting my child or am unable to get to the school before it closes?

In the very unlikely event that a parent or carer does not collect their child from the school at the leaving time, and no contact has been made with the school to inform them of alternative arrangements, school will remain open till parent collect their children and every attempt will be made to contact.
